Our Story
Meadowland Surveying, Inc., is committed to the same outstanding values on which it was founded 75 years ago. Our history of excellence began in 1946 with a sharp, dedicated surveyor named Carl J. Nedberg. “Pledged to accurate, dependable service,” as his slogan stated, Carl developed a reputable, flourishing business.
Successive company owners Donald D. Busker (1969) and Roy A. Smith (1981) continued to build upon Carl’s high standards. Few clients will ever forget Roy’s warm and trustworthy personality, his unbiased authority on survey matters across the county, and his unique ability to explain complex survey details in terms that any layman could understand.
Desiring to carry on this reputation for hard work, accuracy, and professionalism, Scott R. Walz purchased Roy A. Smith and Associates in 2001 and renamed it Meadowland Surveying, Inc. As president of Meadowland Surveying, Inc., Scott oversees all survey projects with an eye for precision and reliability, always striving to build trust with clients as well as with local businesses and government officials.
